Millennial Pink Interiors Have Long Been in Vogue

This week, New York Magazineadroitly pointed out the confluence, or perhaps ascension, of a certain color-geared trend. Millennial pink—in case you haven’t heard the term by now—is that pale dusty hue mysteriously beloved by the young. Think rose gold jewelry, Yes Way Rosé, Acne Studios shopping bags, and other products of late that tend to gravitate toward all things pink.

Of course, this specific shade has not appeared completely out of the blue. A quick dip into the vogue archives revealed more than a room or two that have displayed gradients of light pink over the years. From semi-recent shoots to an illustration of Wallis Simpson by Cecil Beaton.
