My passion for real estate stemmed from working Saturdays in my father’s real estate office at a very young age. I would often assist with general admin duties around the office, attend open homes and auctions. The buzz of meeting new people has always excited me, working in this industry allows you connect with people from different walks and build strong relationships based on trust and integrity, which are things I take pride in achieving both on a professional and personal level. I was fortunate to have an incredible mentor in my first role who taught me the invaluable lessons of being process driven with strict time management, the importance of applying a hard work ethic & having the humility to take correction, which still remain at the very core of my profession to this day.
Having come through property management from the beginning with leasing, I have been able to drawer on my own experiences over the years & develop a strong understanding of a clients needs in an ever changing market. This has armed me with a comprehensive understanding of the broader property market allowing me to provide our clients with a more holistic and tailored service, and ultimately form a powerful strategy for maximising investment potential.
Overseeing a portfolio of 1200 properties, as Head of Property Management I am driven by a hands on approach & thoroughly enjoy working closely with the rest of the team from leasing, to business development and accounting staff. With a strong focus on delivering an exceptional customer experience, being ‘in the trenches’ with the team further extends that commitment to all our clients through their hard efforts day in & day out, ensuring the same premium service, regardless of how affordable or high end a property may be. Their commitment to our business and our property management department is invaluable & I am constantly learning with them, which is extremely important to remain competitive & ahead in a market that is constantly changing in technology, legislation and trends as time goes on.
I take great pride in the collaboration of our team amongst themselves, other departments and our greater Erskineville & Surry Hills community which I couldn’t be prouder to be a part of. The cosmopolitan and culturally diverse village life of the Inner City and Inner West has a great energy which you cant help but be drawn into. My downtime consists of quality time spent with family & friends often over a good feed, travelling the world & a love affair for the great game of football.
